A Breathtaking Tropical Destination Wedding in Miami
A Magnificent Celebration in Paradise
Jade & Corey’s Destination Wedding in Miami was back on June 26, 2021 at the W Hotel in South Beach. This is one of the best cities to host your wedding celebration due to its white sandy beaches and cotton candy skies, which creates a fairy-tale like background for your day!
I Love their Story!
They started out as high school sweethearts but called it quits after graduating. After a 9-year break, they ran into each other out at a bar on Halloween night 2015. They have been back together ever since.
Corey + Jade got engaged on Christmas morning at the Biltmore Estate, a tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina. This Châteauesque-style mansion was built for George Washington Vanderbilt and was then turned into a historic house museum.
While it was snowing outside, they opened up all the gifts they had packed up for the trip. Their puppy, Tegan with them and they all shared matching Christmas pajamas. Lastly, it was time for Jade’s gift and Corey told her to sit down and close her eyes. That’s when Corey had Tegan walk over to her, with her engagement ring in a little bag on the back of Tegan’s pajamas. As Jade opened it, Corey was kneeling down beside her and asked if she would marry him.
A Sweet Suite
If you dream of something trendy, but also timeless for your big day, you will be swooning over this amazing combination of blush, sage green and white by the talented Andi Mejia & Co.
Bridal Preparation
Jade’s mermaid gown was the perfect blend of beach and boho for her Destination Wedding in Miami. So elegant and chic!
She chose not having a bridal party which resulted in more free time during the day. She was able to take it all in during her getting ready time with a special guest, their lil Paddy boy and a photograph commemorating sweet Tegan, who sadly passed a few weeks before their wedding.
Corey and his brother opted for a light suit from Indochino and brown shoes, which paired perfectly with their Destination Wedding in Miami full of tropical beach vibes.
Bride and Groom First Look
A private first look can be so special. Jade & Corey chose to do a first look with each other before the ceremony. Despite being there with my hubby, this couple felt and acted as if they were the only ones.
I think every couple should absolutely do a private first look! I also like to suggest to make your first look unique, by giving each other a letter or a small gift. Don’t miss this special moment!
What a lovely and elegant couple these two make! They have such a wonderful fashion style!
We snuck away to the beach with Jade and Corey after their ceremony and we took advantage of this perfect piece of paradise to create some amazing portraits. We had a great time before heading into the reception!
If your Destination Wedding in Miami is taking place beach-side, you may have to factor in the wind when thinking of your hairstyle for the big day. You can chose to wear a veil to help a bit with the wind.
A tropical bouquet can also feel romantic. Roses, pampas grass, ferns and other beautiful blooms made Jade’s bouquet the magnificent piece of art it was. I especially like the fact that it was made using the same color palette from the invitation suite.
A beautiful, white sandy beach with glimmering turquoise water in the background, is truly a dream wedding setting. For this reason, we insist you consider having a Destination Wedding in Miami!
Dreamy Tropical Display for Your Ceremony
Primrose Florals created this cozy, bohemian backdrop by gathering the foliage and florals that mirrored the ones used in Jade’s bouquet.
Every little detail of this dream tropical Destination Wedding in Miami was carefully thought of and the result is simply amazing!
Here Comes The Bride
We had the pleasure of working with Adriana and her team over at The Creative’s Loft, a Miami Wedding and Event planning studio who took charge of the planning + design for this splendid event and we simply could not be happier with them.
We highly recommended you work with a wedding planner to help manage all aspects of the event. There’s a great number of arrangements and booking that have to be made for a Destination Wedding in Miami, and a wedding planner will know who’s reliable and where to find everything for you.
Thus, If you’re thinking of Miami for your destination wedding definitely get in touch with Adriana, she is kinda the best of the best… just sayin’!
Dinner Reception
When it comes to a reception in paradise, we think you can never have too many tropical florals. As a result, the guest tables were covered in foliage and florals provided by Primrose Florals.
The guest tables featured terracotta plates and tall floral centerpieces. The design plays with the different color tones of this wedding, which creates a vibrant visual effect!
If you want to add a little tropical inspo to your dessert table, look no further than this two-tier Earth and Sugar confection, paired perfectly with florals and greenery.
Let’s Dance
The Mais Music team was so fun and talented, providing us with great entertainment all throughout the night!
After the exit from the reception, Jade & Corey finally had time to breathe after the most extraordinary day and ground theirselves in the moment to really take in what they’d just experienced.
I am still in love with every minute of this Destination Wedding in Miami!
