Engagement Session at Club Lake Plantation in Apopka, Florida
A Romantic Sunset at a place where rustic marries elegance
How they met
The sweet bride is Nicole Anne York and the handsome groom is Nathan Pownall and I want to show you what we did for their engagement session!
The couple met in October 2020. They met online and spoke for a few months before meeting due to COVID.
When they first met in person it was in fall, hence why they love fall. They went for coffee and a walk by their local lake to watch the sunset and of course it began to rain, but they still sat at the bench and talked until 4am.
Talk about a connection right?
They got engaged on July 17th, 2021.
Nate proposed to Nicole during sunset at a romantic lantern festival with their family looking on. Nicole is a big fan of Tangled and the lantern scene in that movie, so that made the proposal even more special!
Wedding Vibes
Nicole and Nate chose Club Lake Plantation as their wedding venue. Throughout the venue, you encounter lots of greenery and rustic Elegance, leading to a charming Reception Ballroom decorated by walls of wood and stone work. As a result, Club Lake Plantation is simply gorgeous!
Their wedding date is on 09/17/22. The couple will have a fall wedding, with romantic and classic touches filled lots of candles and twinkle lights.
As for their color palette, they just want fall tones so the venue they’ve chosen is truly perfect for that vibe!
Bella Sposa Events will be coordinating the wedding to help make their special day absolutely amazing!
The engagement session
Like I always say, the E-session is actually the most important part of your photography experience. It allows us to really get to know one another and it lets both the bride and groom get familiar with the way that I shoot.
I always tell my couples that the BEST models are the ones who have never modeled professionally before! And I mean it! The couples who are usually most nervous are the couples who totally rock their session!
I recommend a maximum of 2 outfits for your engagement session to ensure that we have plenty of time. Remember that the goal is COORDINATING outfits instead of MATCHING.
My main goal is to create a funny and exciting environment that invites to REAL LAUGHTER and makes the subjects believe in themselves because they feel natural in what they are doing!
To understand what I’m talking about you can peep Alayna + Matt full engagement session.
