Modern Classic Black and White Wedding in Windermere, Florida
A Chic November Wedding
Joshua and Colby first met in 2018 due to a mutual friend at a local sports bar and their Wedding was back in November 13th, 2021.
A close family friend’s backyard in Windermere, FL was the exclusive location for this intimate celebration. I felt honored to be there helping gather their Wedding memories.
The ambiance
Their Wedding started out with a delicate black ink invitations suite on white background.
As for Colby’s waterfall bouquet she chose a mix of blush pinks and whites roses with orchids combining perfectly, as a result they creating the most magical arrangement that combines perfectly with the rest of the Wedding decor.
The couple put their emphasis on design and similarly on decor elements, consequently they chose a modern classic white and black palette with hints of sage, neutral tones and LOTS of details.
Getting ready
Before finishing getting ready, our sweet bride showed off her gorgeous original pendants which framed her face flawlessly.
Our bride Colby found her dream Vera Wang wedding gown at Love Bridal Boutique. She chose to go with a deep back. As a result, the form-fitted silhouette was paired perfectly with her dreamy bouquet.
The Black Tux carries an infinite array of options for the modern groom. For instance, Josh found this original black & navy blue with white dots suit that makes him look like he just stepped out of a Magazine!
The most emotional moment was when they had their first look in the hall of the house, allowing them to spend some intimate time together.
During her Wedding Planning season, our bride requested black, floor-length gowns with a gorgeous big slit for her bridesmaids to wear. It perfectly played off their white baby’s breath bouquets, therefore creating the perfect look.
I was able to have some time with the couple to capture amazing portraits just before the ceremony. I know I always say the same thing but… DO A FIRST LOOK! You won’t regret it!
She entered the ceremony with her father through a path surrounded by candles and flowers.
Black and White details
Morgan Hunter Desserts did a great job creating their wedding cake with natural cream tones.
Because of their wedding vibe, it was important for the couple to choose a color palette that reflected their personalities. City of the Sun is one of their favorite bands so they wanted the wedding to look like the set for a music video of the band!
In addition, floral arrangements sitting on black metal centerpieces and glass candles ran down the length of the table to create a glowy ambiance.
Moreover transparent chairs, white tablecloths, and black napkins added a luxurious look to the long dining tables.
The luminous clear tent with this super fun checkered pattern invited all of the guests to dance until exhaustion.
After that, the newlyweds wrapped up the night by making their way to their Maserati getaway car.
In conclusion, it was an amazing day to remember!
Congratulations Colby & Joshua!
