A Fresh Organic Wedding at The Mulberry NSB, Florida
Marrying your best friend
Jenna and Michael’s fresh organic wedding at the Mulberry was on March 5th, 2022.
This venue is one of my favorite ones in Central Florida. This beautiful couple met at what’s called a “bike and bar” where you bike to different bars in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
The sweetest proposal
They got engaged at the beginning of November, 2021. Michael really outdid himself in the proposal! Jenna wasn’t expecting it at all because he was supposed to just be surprising her by going on a date. He took her to a beautiful winery (so she thought THAT was already her surprise). Then, they saw a guy painting at the winery and started talking to Michael in a casual way. He expressed that he would paint them both for their anniversary. So they sat down and when the painter turned the painting around, it was a picture of Jenna and Michael with the phrase: “Will you marry me?”! Jenna turned to look at Michael and of course, he was down on one knee. But it didn’t stop there! After she said yes, their families popped out to welcome them to an engagement party also organized by sweet Michael.
It sounds like such a dreamy and perfect proposal. Good job, Michael! You did amazingly!
Firstly, get inspired by this romantic taupe, gold and green invitation suite matching perfectly with the bridesmaids gowns.
Jenna was truly a STUNNING bride to photograph, in other words she is fire!
Pro-Tip: Always remember to bring an extra invitation suite for your photographer to capture on the day of your wedding!
Secondly, I always recommend for the couple to write letters to each other to read prior to the ceremony. It just bring up ALL the emotions and gets you really excited for what you’re about to do!
Ceremony
The cutest flower girl and ring bearer were there to do their part!
Thirdly, let me confess that in front of the grand barn doors is one of my favorite picture spots at this amazing venue!
Everyone’s here! The bridesmaids’ taupe wedding dresses were from Birdy Grey and the groomsmen and groom attire were black with white and green boutonnieres with gold accents from The Black Tux.
Newlywed Portraits
This venue’s natural light and gorgeous landscape were key to photography. Ferns, vines and a romantic place to steal some love.
You might think that your wedding photographer is one of the scariest vendors to pick. It is really important for me that the happy couple feel comfortable, both in the engagement session and on their wedding day. It really helps us build trust, so that when I show up on your wedding day you feel like a trusted friend is there for you instead of a stranger!
Above all, I swear I will make you laugh and have a good time taking incredible and natural photos.
The Mulberry
A huge congratulations to Roots to stems and Premier Events Orlando both companies that did an amazing job leading up to this special day so it could be as stress free as possible for the sweet couple.
Further, the magic from Native Roots Foliage Design plus a mix of romantic fresh florals, greenery and candles really transforms the space into an organic paradise.
In addition, this dessert table set up was the perfect showcase for all of the yummy treats!
Most importantly, the newlyweds danced the night away with their loved ones. To sum up it was quite a celebration of love and what a PARTY it was!
Overall, this smiles on their faces at the end of the night are my motivation to continue doing my job with a lot of dedication and love.
In conclusion, I spent an awesome time celebrating Mr. & Mrs. Colubiale! Cheers to them!
