A Tuscan Themed Wedding at Bella Collina in Montverde, Florida
Organic & Green touches for your Celebration
I am so excited to share Angela & Ryan’s Tuscan themed wedding which took place in Monteverde, Florida at the beautiful, Bella Collina. This gorgeous wedding was on August 1st, 2020.
How they met
Angela and Ryan are both nurses. Despite what many think, they did not meet at the hospital, they met through mutual friends in New Smyrna on January, 2019 and have been inseparable since.
Ryan proposed to her on May 9th, 2020 at Hillstone restaurant in Winter Park, FL. Hillstone is located by Lake Killarney which is special to both of them because that’s where they lived in the first house they had together. They just have so many great memories there from the early days of their relationship.
This modern and elegant wedding with a splash of boho made us feel like we were in Italy and it was designed and coordinated in just 3 months! Can you believe it?! As can be seen in the following images, they did an amazing job, after all this is a wedding by the talented Anna Christine Events team! Let’s dive in together into what made this wedding happen, and happen SO well in such a short time!
Color Palette
First for their invitation suite, they chose neutral colors such as white + black + taupe.
Prepare Yourself
Second, let’s talk about the getting ready… Shall we?
This is one of the most exciting moments of your life. If you’re already looking fabulous while getting ready with your bridal party, top it off with a glass of champagne!
Who doesn’t love gathering with your favorite gals and popping some champagne, especially when you are having a Tuscan Themed Wedding!
Thirdly, would you please look at Angela’s stunning gown from Calvet Couture Bridal?! She chose an ivory mermaid style gown with nude undertones to enhance her figure which works perfectly with her chosen veil. So sleek and modern, she looked amazing in her Tuscan Themed Wedding!
Then there is the handsome groom, who chose a blue/grey suit, with brown shoes.
As you can see, this wedding took place at Bella Collina. If you are into the whole Tuscan vibe, it is the right place for you to celebrate your wedding. They define themselves as the spirit of Tuscany in the heart of Central Florida, and we think they are absolutely right!
I love this venue! Everywhere you turn there you have such wonderful backgrounds. They have so many amazing spots for photos nestled among the romantic Tuscan architecture. Endless options like their wine cellar, the atrium, the reflection pool, the grand lawn and the ballroom provided the perfect backdrop for the light and airy set up.
First Look + Portraits
Usually, when you ask a couple their first look is the most memorable moment for them. A lot of bottled-up emotions that couples are finally able to release at that moment.
The gorgeous couple looked super stylish, chic and followed direction so so well!
If you think about it, Bella Collina is so gorgeous on its own that you can get away with little to no decor for your ceremony. All you need is there, provided to you by the venue, without a doubt representing everything you love about Tuscany.
Give it up for the bride and groom!
Pro-tip: Flying rose petals are always a good addition to your portraits and so fun for us to photograph!
Angela & Ryan’s squad
The couple chose a light and elegant attire for their bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Bridesmaids’ dresses were taupe color in different styles combined with an all-white floral bouquet with greenery sprigs mixed in.
The groomsmen wore a jacket-less attire with light grey pants, cognac suspenders, white shirts and taupe bowties to tie in with the bridesmaids dresses. An excellent choice for their organic and green tuscan theme wedding.
This elegant and romantic Tuscan themed wedding, showcased some of the finest vendors in Central Florida.
Onto the Reception!
At the ballroom, tables were dressed with taupe tablecloths, clear plates, small votive candles and tall centerpieces with white flowers that ranged from roses to limonium, lysanthos, gypsofilia and some greenery like eucalyptus and olive tree branches, among others provided by the fabulous team at Atmospheres Floral.
What a blessing it is to have the Anna Christine Events team handle every meticulous detail to pull off this fabulous event. They always knock it out of the park!
They Finally got to relax and party the night away thanks to Jayliquid who was the DJ for the evening. The newlyweds and their closets family and friends danced all night long celebrating love, which is the most important thing in the world.
As a result of all the efforts of the vendors and the love that this couple feels for one another, this wedding was cool, modern and filled to the brim with love and laughter.
All things considered, please don’t forget to live your special day, enjoy yourselves, hug those you love the most and thank the presence of each of your guests. That is what you’ll have at the end of the day!
Thank you to this lovely couple who has been working tirelessly to keep us all safe during the pandemic!
